Trust and safety
Working with new people takes trust. Here is how Purpose earns it — what we check, how your money is handled, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Verification, only when it matters
We ask for details only at the moment they are needed — a phone number before someone contacts you, a verified name before an introduction, payout details only when work is agreed. Each ask tells you why, and you can always do it later.
Payments are held safely
When an organisation funds an engagement, the money is held securely and released when the work is delivered as agreed. The state of every payment is shown to both sides in plain language.
You control what is shared
Your contact details and documents are never shown on your profile. You decide what organisations see, and you can change your mind at any time.
Report, block, and be heard
Every profile and opportunity has a report option. If something feels wrong, you can block the other party and a real person reviews every report.
If something goes wrong
Disagreements happen. Both sides can raise a dispute, and a person — not a form letter — works through it with you. Nothing is decided without hearing both sides.
Still unsure?
